Spectators are prohibited from entering the track safety zone marked in red on the map (drawing 4). While watching the Event, spectators must comply with these Rules. Where other information measures (staff, signs, tape, etc.) do not prohibit approaching closer to the track or other hazardous areas, spectators must still comply with these Rules.

  • Spectators must follow instructions given by staff working on the track.
  • Consuming alcohol or psychotropic substances while watching the Event is prohibited. It is also prohibited to be in the viewing area under the influence of alcohol and/or psychotropic substances.
  • Cars on the track may suddenly change direction due to driver error, mechanical failure, track conditions or changes in terrain; spectators must therefore keep their attention focused on cars on the track so that a hazard can be spotted early and they can move to a safer position.
  • At the viewing location it is especially recommended not to crowd, not to sit or lie down, and not to engage in activities other than watching the Event.
  • If a crash occurs on the track, spectators are prohibited from taking any action involving the car(s) involved in the crash.
  • When medics and rescue services arrive, spectators must move at least 100 m away from the crash site and must not obstruct rescue operations.
  • The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to persons who may pose a risk to the quality of the Event or the safety of participants. Any disruptive or provocative behaviour, as well as capturing or recording (filming) of content without prior permission, is also prohibited. In such cases, the ticket price is not refunded.
  • The organiser informs spectators and participants of the requirements of Article I of these Rules exclusively by electronic means: a QR code is displayed at the entrance to the track, linking to the Event rules page. Spectators and participants must, before entering the Event site or before starting to use Event infrastructure, familiarise themselves with the applicable rules using this QR code. Spectators are also informed of the requirements when tickets are purchased. The Rules are published on the organiser’s website, on social networks and through other information channels (www.klaipedadrift.lt, www.gripgp.com, the Facebook event description https://fb.me/e/9KLzYGdEP, the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Elephantdriftteam and the organiser’s Instagram account https://www.instagram.com/domaskucas/).

  • A participant is not admitted to the start zone if the technical condition of the car poses a risk to Event safety or the environment.
  • A participant is not admitted to the start zone if there are other persons, animals or unsecured objects in the car that could injure the participant in a crash.

Event staff act under employment or volunteer agreements.

By signing the agreement mentioned above, each staff member undertakes to comply with these Rules and ensures that, within the scope of their duties, the Event is run in accordance with the organiser’s Event regulations and other normative requirements indicated by the organiser.

Each staff member must take all reasonable safety measures to protect themselves, other staff, participants and spectators.

When acting within the scope of their duties, staff must behave responsibly and convey instructions to participants and/or spectators as clearly as possible. If there is even the slightest suspicion that Event safety may be at risk, staff must take action to prevent it.

Media representatives (accredited by LASF (https://lasf.lt/) and/or the organiser) may enter spectator zones, participant paddock zones and their approaches. Media may also be admitted to the service vehicle staging area (marked MEDIA on drawings 1 and 2) but must remain there until officials give permission to leave.
